Armitage Centre Description
The Armitage Centre is the largest venue on the Fallowfield Campus with a main hall that provides a 1000 seat partially tiered meeting room or alternatively gives 1200 square metres of exhibition space with easy ground floor access for loading and unloading.
In addition, there is a 250 seat conference room and 1 smaller meeting room seating 60 to 130 people. The centre can also accommodate large scale examinations for up to 750.
The extensive grounds surrounding the centre and free parking for 300 cars means that this venue is a great choice for company fun days or sports tournaments, with University accommodation only a short walk away.
In addition to the Armitage Centre the University operates 26 good quality football pitches and 1 rugby pitch set over 90 acres available for team or large scale events at nearby Wythenshawe.
