Description
This venue is the latest addition to our extensive conference portfolio and houses the largest dedicated lecture theatre in the Greater Manchester region. It is an ideal venue for large national and international conferences and high profile events, and boasts a large number of flexible, flat floored rooms for discussion groups.
It has been fitted out with the most up to date audio-visual aids and there is a highly qualified technical support team on site who can also advise on WiFi and wired internet access around the building.
There is also a shop and Visitors Centre on site which is proving to be a useful facility for conferences. Located at the centre of the campus,it is no more than a 5 minute walk from any of the other teaching buildings or the majestic Whitworth Hall and equally impressive Manchester Museum.

Our inhouse caterers, Food on Campus, offer conferences a flexible range of catering options, including seated lunches in Eats restaurant or in the marquee space making it very easy for large numbers to be catered for. Stand up receptions and lunches can also be served from the main exhibition area.All ethnic and special dietary needs are covered.

University Place Location
University Place stands proudly at the heart of our Oxford Road campus, close to all the other venues available on this campus.
There are two large multi-storey car parks on site as well as a ground level car park and the campus is well served by public transport,being on the busiest bus route in Europe, and there is also a weekday shuttle bus service that runs between the Sackville Street and Oxford Road campuses of the University.
