The neo-Gothic Whitworth Building is a real Manchester treasure. This elegant, Grade II listed venue offers the stunning Whitworth Hall available for meetings for up to 675, banquets for up to 300, trade exhibitions and product launches. It is also a recognised film location.
Adjoining the Whitworth Hall is the imposing Council Chamber and nearby are six boardrooms seating 12 to 24 delegates. The adjacent Christies Bistro, has a sophisticated and calm atmosphere providing a welcome escape from the business of the day, and can be used for drinks receptions and private dinners.
The Whitworth Building's stunning architecture also makes it a popular choice for weddings. Located at the centre of the campus, it is no more than a 5 minute walk from any of the other lecture buildings including the iconic University Place, where the two venues can be combined for major conferences.
