Day Conferences & Meetings
We are able to accommodate day conferences, meetings and events throughout the year at a number of our venues:
- Manchester Meeting Place - our flexible daytime venue for 6-90 people in Manchester city centre
- Barnes Wallis Building - adding more capacity to Manchester Meeting Place for larger events
- Sackville Street Building - a Grade II-listed, French Renaissance style venue ideal for city centre conferences, meetings and receptions for up to 300 people
- Renold Building - for conferences up to 524 people with a generous exhibition space located in Manchester city centre
- Core Technology Facility - offers light and spacious contemporary conference and meeting spaces for 2-140 people on the Oxford Road Corridor
- University Place - our largest conference and meeting venue located right in the centre of campus, able to accommodate up to 1,000 people
- Whitworth Building - in the heart of campus, boasting neo-Gothic and elegant surroundings that are perfect for dinners and receptions for up to 600 people
- Christie's Bistro - the University's Old Science Library provides a versatile space for up to 300 people
- Manchester Museum - home to awe-inspiring items of archaeology, anthropology and natural history, making it a beautiful and unique event setting
- Whitworth Art Gallery - set amongst the trees of Whitworth Park, this beautiful cultural venue can accommodate both small and large groups
- Schuster Building - for conferences and meetings for up to 200 people during vacation time
- Roscoe Building - for conferences and meetings for up to 150 people during vacation time. Roscoe is also available as breakout or lecture space alongside other venues.
- Alan Turing Building - for conferences and meetings for up to 119 people during vacation time
- Oddfellows Hall - new for 2022
- Engineering A and B - new for 2023
