Conferences & Meetings
We are able to accommodate day conferences, meetings and events throughout the year at a number of our venues:
- Core Technology Facility - offers light and spacious contemporary conference and meeting spaces for 2 to 120 delegates on the Oxford Road Corridor.
- Oddfellows Hall - a historic venue offering stylish meeting rooms up to 50.
- Whitworth Building - at the heart of the campus, boasting neo-Gothic and elegant surroundings, perfect for formal dinners up to 300 and receptions for up to 400 guests.
- Manchester Museum - reopened after an exciting redevelopment, home to awe-inspiring items of archaeology, anthropology and natural history, making it a beautiful and unique event setting.
- Whitworth Art Gallery - set amongst the trees of Whitworth Park, this beautiful cultural venue can accommodate both small and large groups.
The below spaces are ideal for larger meetings and conferences;
- Nancy Rothwell and Engineering B Buildings - offering state of the art blended lecture theatres and larger theatres and breakout rooms for conferences up to 500.
- University Place - our largest conference and meeting venue located right in the centre of campus, able to accommodate up to 1,000 delegates.
- Whitworth Building - at the heart of the campus, boasting neo-Gothic and elegant surroundings, perfect for formal dinners up to 300 and receptions for up to 400 guests.
- Schuster Building - for conferences and meetings for up to 200 during vacation time.
- Roscoe Building - for conferences and meetings for up to 150 during vacation time. Roscoe is also available as breakout or lecture space alongside other venues.
- Alan Turing Building - for conferences and meetings for up to 119 delegates during vacation time.
