The University of Manchester is an excellent venue for events. The staff are incredibly helpful and forward thinking.Nothing is too much trouble, and their support and attention to detail during the lead up to the event and during the event is excellent.

This venue houses the largest dedicated lecture theatre in the Greater Manchester region. It is an ideal venue for large national and international conferences and high profile events, and boasts a large number of flexible, flat floored rooms for discussion groups.
It has been fitted out with the most up to date audio-visual aids and there is a highly qualified technical support team on site who can also advise on Wi-Fi and wired internet access around the building.
The University's Gift Shop is located in the building and has proven to be a useful facility for conference delegates. Located at the centre of the campus, University Place is no more than a 5 minute walk from any of the other teaching buildings or the majestic Whitworth Hall and equally impressive Manchester Museum.
